    Default Spring Cleaning Taxidermy

I had to take some of my mounts down for spring cleaning. I thought I might brag a little. The Crappie is a should of been world record. Enjoy!

I caught a crappy this year on the androscoggin river and it was the first since I moved to Maine! I was the only one in the boat that knew what it was! lol. BTW, yours is a monster! I've never hooked one more then 12-13" before!

Thanks Camp! That is a Black Crappie and the world record is 5 lbs. set in 1954. This one is 5lbs. 1oz. certified by the local grocery. I couldn't get to certified scales that evening. I fished 2 -3 days a week for that fish. I just knew it was gonna happen as I had caught several in the 4lb. class. I doubt I could ever do it again.
