    Default Kershaw 1550ST Blackout Folder

I recently picked up a fairly nifty knife at my local Walmart for about $40. It was a Kershaw 1550ST Blackout Folding Knife. It's very fast to deploy and black as the night. It seems to be a pretty rugged knife and certainly a step above cheaper knives. I'm also glad that it is made in the U.S.A.

    Nice knife.
I had a compass, but without a map, it's just a cool toy to show you where oceans and ice are.

Now that is something I look for in a good knife!
    1. If it's in your kit and you don't know how to use it....It's useless.
    2. If you can't reach your kit when you need it....Its useless.
