    1. If it's in your kit and you don't know how to use it....It's useless.
    2. If you can't reach your kit when you need it....Its useless.

I have 46 Alaskan Huskies...and a couple of Karelian Bear dogs- currently no retirees- everyone here works for a living.

Awesome! We don't do as many tours as we used to but that's ok. Does your kennel have a webpage? Ours is ***************

Do you have pictures of your bear dogs? I'd love to see them. Did you breed them all or have any blood lines I would recognize? Do you race? We just do the local fun ones.

I do alot of tours...this season I have 5 guides and 2 handlers, we already have about 90 days of tours booked. The Yellowstone region just gets alot of visitors....*******************

My dogs are mainly Swingley line Alaskan Huskies...however I also have several dogs that came out of Mitch Seavey and Rick Swensons kennels. All of my dogs are out of Iditarod champions. I try not to breed more than one litter a year and some years no puppies...there are so many great dogs out there- I find it cheaper to buy a good dog that is 3 or 4 with lots of miles on it, than raise a puppy from the ground up (and not know if it'll develop into a good worker)

My Bear dogs are from Carrie Hunt lines...check out this post to see them

Cool. I know all those bloodlines! Our kennel is pretty close Rick's and we often run the trails on his side of the road. Sorry, didn't know we couldn't post links in threads. Are we allowed to say the names of our kennels?

If your kennel is a commercial enterprise then, no. If it's not then, yes. It just keeps wannabes like me from spamming the forum.

Yep - that's OK. Just no links to your sites (other sites are OK).

Lol I'm such a rabble rouser. Sorry.
Dogman, I lived in Polson and Kalispell, up in the north west corner of MT. My son was born in Kalispell. If I ever left Alaska, which will never happen, it would only be back to MT.

Awesome. My sister still lives in Polson. You might recognize her name as she just ran for a green party senate seat. Of course, the green party never wins but she was able to get a lot of things done.
