I'm a fan of homemade CNS and cornbread.
Of course I don't mind Ramen...
Beef stew, and hot french bread and extra butter, with hot apple pie and vanilla ice cream for dessert, and coffee with a shot of bourbon.
If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?
central nervous systems with cornbread...? sounds tasty.
all good cold weather options, but we're forgetting something: when we're eating while still out in the cold; few things go down better than smoked salmon or kippers/sardines with some cowboy coffee.
a piping hot clam chowder bowl is also great.
