    Chicken noodel soup or beef stew and corn bread.

    central nervous systems with cornbread...? sounds tasty.

    all good cold weather options, but we're forgetting something: when we're eating while still out in the cold; few things go down better than smoked salmon or kippers/sardines with some cowboy coffee.

    a piping hot clam chowder bowl is also great.

    Any home-made soup. Pumpkin or Squash Risotto after a hard days graft in the garden, any stew with dumplings. I'm not fussy, like Crash I'm still sampling.
