A bit, since I ran a garbage outfit for a while. Only Alaska and Montana have grizzly probs, and the MT bears are much smaller, no bigger than a really big black bear. Only in the fall, and only males, get much bigger than 350 lbs. I know a lot of men who are well over 300 lbs, and I'd take them on with a pocket 9mm, any day. Same with the bears. You have to brain them to stop charges. Ask any hunter, they will tell you that 100 lb deer frequently run 20-50m after being chest hit with 12 ga slugs, or 3006 sp's. So why would a larger, tougher bear stop just because you chest hit him with same, hmmm? He won't. He's charging, his adrenaline is pumping, only a brain hit or a spinal hit will stop him.
same goes for zombies. head shot.

ok, I only dealt with them on a daily basis for a year. How many have you walked up on in the dark, to within 10 ft, bud? :-) I'd have it happen quite frequently. they are sometimes not very happy about your taking their food to toss it in the compactor, and the clients aren't happy if you don't empty their containers. you care to enlighten us about what all YOU know, instead of just harping about ME? The reason you didn't is because you CAN'T, that much is obvious.

You truly are a dumbass! Most of my hunting has been done with a pistol. Big game .41 Magnum, small game .22LR. IS he gone yet???
I know what hunts you.
Yeah. He had to get back to work before the Regents found out he was using their computers for non-work stuff. He'll be back 11/22 if he comes back at all. I decided he needed a little time off to catch his breath.

I guess all those bear hunters that use pistols will be disappointed to know that it was impossible for them to kill those bears that they killed with a pistol.
I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

Sooooooo Sourdough - did he "school" you on bears?
Wow.
Just...wow...
OK. Let me get this straight…
So what you’re saying is that YOU could take out your pocket sized 9mm, shoot and hit a brain the size of a grapefruit, through an eye socket the size of a film canister, all attached to a head the size of a case of beer, which is mounted on a body the size of a small sofa, charging you at 30mph???
I think you need to have your medication adjusted
I did not realize that garbage men had so many educational and exciting experiences.
You are sure right, I CAN'T really see myself able to absorb all that excitement and knowledge.
Of course we all know that dumpster bears are the shining example of the noble species, unaffected by man's influnce and reacting to stimuli as any truely wild creature would.
Biologists world wide rush to the dumps of the high plains to study these wounderous creatures.

If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?
In reading the title of this thread, I'd have to disagree with the op. True, most people could handle my pistol ok but my dog would not be able to as she doesn't have opposable thumbs.
