A walk in the Woods. I have reread this book many times over the years. It's about a guy and his friend you hike the AT and tell of their experiences. Very fun book to read.

I recently finished reading that book. It was a decent read.
I have hiked part of the AT: a 100 yd. section that runs parallel to Skyline Drive in VA, just to say I did it. That was years ago.
I recently saw the Delaware Water Gap, which Bryson dedicated several pages to in his book. He was right, it is an awesome sight.

There were a couple of parts where I laughed myself silly. I backpack a lot and can relate to the newbie who brings the kitchen sink and after two hundred yards up the first incline starts sheding debris along the trail like his friend did.
