    Default Survivalist wanted for interview!

Chris said this was okay to post.

I'm looking for a survivalist that would be able to do a quick 15 minute phone interview for a radio show called Mike Tomano's Wild & Free. It's an outdoors show where he talks about hunting, fishing, camping, ect.. real survival experience would be best or if you know how to survive in the wilderness. Please contact me ASAP Thanks!

    Cool Hmmmm...

So what kind of money are we talking about here?

Seriously though, you actually call your Radio show "Wild & Free?" Sounds like a ladies hair shampoo! I nominate Howard Britain; you can find him over by the "Wall of God!" Oh, wait, we banned him....

    Maybe you could get PrimativeMan?

Seriously, I think looking for a "Survivalists" is the wrong way to go about it. But rather an individual who has lots of outdoor experience, primitive or not-so primitive. Instructors and Tour Guides would fit this list.

As for some candidates, there are some I'd highly recommend. But I will let you do the searching for them or let them chime in that they would like to do it.

What skill sets are you looking for? If we know that, we might be able to either steer you toward a few folks, or prod them to respond to you.

I've done one of those radio interview shows before. They are all over the place. If anyone does this set some parameters to the conversation before hand.

If by what I have learned over the years, allow me to help one person to start to prepare. If all the mistakes I have made, let me give one person the wisdom that allows them to save their life or the life of a loved one in an emergency. Then I will truly know that all the work I have done will have been worth every minute.

    Cool Well now...

Amy said they were looking for a "survivalist" so that lets me out. I'm a "survivor," NOT a "survivalist."

They need to offer some green, I mean members here need to buy bullets & knives for cryin' out loud!

My job often requires me to communicate with the local and area media, radio and print, and what comes out never seems to be quite what I said to them. I think I'll give it a pass.
some fella confronted me the other day and asked "What's your problem?" So I told him, "I don't have a problem I am a problem"

I think I meet the qualifications: I haven't died in the wilderness once even.
