    the elk rut is on...bull's could be heard bugling and seen sparing around the park

    Of all the places in this great country that I've been, Yellowstone is one place I've not been. Thanks for taking me there. Great pics.

    Cool! Except for the wildfire.

    I am headed to Yellowstone National Park on the first week of October. It will be my first time there.

    As long as it is a wildfire it is cool. Burns are a necessity. With out them you'll change the entire ecology of an area and not for the better.
