    Hello everyone I'm new to the site and wildernes survival although spend a lot of time in the woods hunting and fishing but I just keep finding myself attracted to survival wondering if their is anyone in maryland that could sit down with me and show me a little about plant identification and other techniques that I may be unsure of thanks and any comments could help

    The most important plants in Maryland are the clumps of fescue grass the farmers cultivate and feed to the cattle.

    When they reach the appropriate size on this nourishment we eat them, preferably with potatoes and gravy.

    Welcome to the forums.
    I may be able to give a few tips on plant ID. If you have specific questions, feel free to post on the boards. There are several other folks here knowledgable in plants also, so all together we should be able to get you on the right track.
