    Default In your S kit?

I may have missed any references in "kits" or other places but how many if any have a dedicated "spoon" in their kit.
I have made some long handled SS spoons a long time ago for that very purpose so that you can access the bottom of the jar, thermos or food container with ease.

I have a couple of spoons, they're just regular dessert spoons. I'll look around for extra long sundae spoons.

    Good thinking!

    Cool Well, since you asked...

    I usually carry Lexan tableware:

However, if you want long handles, try this:

I currently keep a lexan fork, spoon and knife still in the sealed plastic bag they came in and a pair of bamboo chop sticks. I have them in a pocket of my E.D.C. pack. I want to move up to titanium. I also have stainless steel utensils in my B.O.B.

The only eating utensil I carry, besides the multiple knife syndrome I suffer from, is a large table spoon. The big soup spoon size. It is a piece of percision eatery I purchased with two other spoon units for $1 down at the Family Dollar Store.

Big enough for a serving spoon, long enough to reach the bottom of the coffee can and able to scoop a large bite.

If you have multiple knife syndrome, like me, you can always whittle a good spoon/fork and a set of salad bowls while waiting for the fish to bite.
If you didn't bring jerky what did I just eat?

I forage plastic knives, forks, and spoons from Wendy's as well. The finest sealed plastic cutlery available at that price any where.

I also suffer the same knife affliction and there ain't no jar so deep, no burger flipping mission to big, nor a hot object carrying tong requirement too hot that a carved green palm frond can't handle.

I carry a nifty lil tool that will fit in my pocket... Modeled after the Swiss army knife, it has a knife, spoon and fork that all fold together small... It also has a bottle opener and corkscrew... You know, in case I bring a heineken or bottle of merlot in my kit....
