    Default Newbie, here!

    Hey, everybody!

I've only been lurking here for a short time, but I believe this is probably the most complete, comprehensive survival site I've found yet. Glad I found you!

I'm a 48 y/o female, retired Navy CPO, now a farmer on a 75-acre farm (mostly wooded) in north-central AR.

I've been looking into survival and preps on and off for about 5 years. I have some preps stashed... but after reading "The Patriots", realized how much I'm still missing. I've attended some hands-on courses on survival (i.e., shelters, foraging, tracking, etc.) none of which were really "hard core" enough for me. (I'm not a tough-guy kind of woman, but I need to feel the challenge because I know I'm capable of more.)

Anyway... looking forward to delving into the threads.
    See ya there!

The family and the horse are right out of Hollywood central casting, Poco. Get them an agent and retire.
