How many here are into making their own bushcraft jewelry?
Here's a wooden leaf necklace I made.

I enjoy making primitive style jewelry; wood, stone, and bone.
Here is one I found on a hike last year along Lake Michigan. I don't know if it is man made or occurred naturally but I thought it was kind of neat. It's about 1.5 inches in diameter.

I made these for Christmas gifts. Ceramic, Tigers Eye, and Bronzite.
Nice work Corndog & pgvoutdoors.
There is no greater solitude than that of the Tracker in the forest, unless perhaps it's that of the wolf in the wilderness.
Heey.. nice, pgvoutdoors. Is there a story behind it?
Only thing like that I've ever made was a squirel bone septum piece I used to wear when I was out alone. But I dont know what ever happened to it, I may still have it in an old box of animal parts somewhere.
if i had a nickel for everytime i lost something in a box of animal parts...
These neck bands were made as gifts. I gave one to my son as well as keeping one for myself. My son has a friend his age that I've treated as a adopted son, he received one as well. The other three went to good friends of mine that have spent many years in the field with me.
The pendant is made from carved Bronzite known as the "Stone of Focused Action". It helps one to think ahead and take control of one's actions.
The "Tiger's Eye" spacers represent protection of ones self and family. It enhances integrity, willpower, practicality, and a positive use of power.
The ceramic barrels are painted with earth tones to show our reliance on mother Earths offerings. The teepee's represent home and a commitment to family and community.
This is a little sheath I made to hold a medium size Swiss Army Knife around my neck.

Bunch of friggin' "nature-child hippy types" --grumbled the man who obviously has no skill at making jewellry.
some fella confronted me the other day and asked "What's your problem?" So I told him, "I don't have a problem I am a problem"
Well what is so tough about that? All it takes is a little talent, imagination, creativity and handiwork. (anyone have a catalog where I can order some talent?).
Nice job!!
