Default Watch You Like A Hawk!

The Franklin Institute Hawk Nest in Philadelphia

"Two Red-tailed Hawks built a nest on a window ledge at The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia. The nest sits just outside a window where a camera has been positioned to create this video stream. The camera looks through the glass window pane which is 24 inches wide (~61 cm). No artificial lighting has been added, so the nest is only visible during daylight hours."

Pale Male is our red tail--an institution after 17 years on fifth Avenue and on his fourth wife.
We all love him and follow his life closely.

About three years ago PBS did a special on some hawks the male, in particular, on Nature. I'm pretty sure it was Pale Male that Benesse mentioned. The building was going to have the nest removed, but public out cry was so bad that they didn't dare. Glad to hear that they are still going strong.

Perhaps there is a great food supply in the form of fat pigeons.
