    Unhappy Ranger Hanbook vs Ranger Handbook

    Ok I know this is kind of lame thread but hey this is General Chat right?
    For Christmas i asked for the Rangers Handbook

    Cool Well now...

    I think they're both the same, but the 2nd one is an "e-book" that you down-load. Only thing I see wrong with that is that you won't be able to take it into the field with you. Is the 1st book the same as this one?

    Hey Proud, the Ranger Handbook was updated last year (2006). You are linked to the 2000 version. click here and then on Ranger Handbook and you can save it as a .pdf file. I hope you have high speed internet because the file is 7.35 Mb. Otherwise, you are going to be downloading for a while.

    What about the copy sold by Brigade Q., which issue is that?

    I couldn't find it on their site. If they sell it, I'm sure it's the newer version but Proud can download it free. Just about all the manuals are free.

    Here are a slug that can be downloaded:

    A lot of places are selling these manuals and if you google around a bit you can usually download a good many of them for free.

    The link posted in the thread above the last one I posted takes you right to it. Liked the site you posted but I have problems with downloads.

    Well snap! I clicked on that link and looked at the book didn't even realize I was on the BQ website. Duh!

    Hey Thanks Rick and Sarge. I think im goin to buy it though so i can have a hard copy that i can take around with me, but I did download it so i am goin to read it in the mean time.
