Default I Returned the Last Ball Mason Jar

I stopped my Mom's house on Wednesday for the obligatory plate of Corned Beef and Cabbage.

After the hug and kiss, I handed her an empty Ball Mason Jar.

    Mom: "What's this for?"

Ken: "I'm returning it to you."

    Mom: "From what?"

Ken: "The tomatoes you gave me."

Mom: "I haven't put up tomatoes in years. Look at the lid, it says '2003'"

Ken: "I know. I used the last jar last week."

    Mom: "WHAT?"

Ken: "They looked fine. They smelled fine. They tasted fine. And I didn't get sick."

Ah..good memories of Mo Mo's pickles! They were the best! When she passed on to a better place I was given a storage of pickles...I ate them for years, I'd say about 4yrs.! To this day the best pickle I ever ate!
Keep in mind the problem may be extremely complicated, though the "Fix" is often simple...
