It's possible the temp job evaporated today. I got what others take 2 8 hour days to do i n one 10 hour day. Went to the crew leader and was informed there are no more assignments in our area. A job that was supposed to last 5 weeks may end before 2 weeks are over.

I think your right Crash, Ive always been pretty much a hermit and I rarely get a cold! My oldest son was 3 years old before he ever had a cold! He got the 1st one 1 week after he started preschool!

This flu was the first time I have be ill in 4 years. That last time I got it from a coworker as well. If I didn't have to deal with others I'd never get ill.

Few weeks back, Sat. afternoon I started feeling badddd. Went to bed, about 4 hours later I was up, one minute sweating, next minute cold as ice. Fever was up then down, I had the shakes then.........I did something that I've only done twice in 30 years. I ran to the bathroom and started to hurl, and hurl, and hurl.

Last time I hurled was about 3 years ago when I mistakenly grabbed a wasps next and got stung 5 times on my left hand. I went home, ate dinner and wham, it all came back up in the back yard.

Well anyway, Sunday was shot, Monday went to work and came home after and hour and a half, Tues. went to work for four hours, then came home. Wed. managed an 8 hour day just barely, Thurs. did do a ten, but it was hard, then Friday cut off early to go to the doctor because of shortness of breath. Doc had me scared as I had to get chest xrays..I felt like I was going to cough up a lung. Doc put me on steroids and cough meds.

Sunday I felt okay and then Monday my wife got it.

Last week my wife was talking to one of her friends and found out that she had the same thing and it was diagnosed as Swine flu.

Both kids did not get it.

I guess you can call me a pig now.

    Hope you feel better.

The job did in fact evaporate. Less than half the time promised. We that were working this phase are supposed to be on the top on the list for the next phase hiring.
