Thread: mapping

    Default mapping

I found a site that allows conversion from UTM to GPS ( LAT / LONG ) or vice versa. The best part about this site is that it will map the coordinates. You can choose the type of map you want. I like the topo maps and satellite pictures. Here's a UTM coordinate: 13S 0373522E 4369590N. Can you tell me where this is? Can you map it? For the topo map I find the WGS-60 works best.

Hey! That's a great tool. Thanks. You can also change how you view gps in Google Earth. Go to Tools>Options>3D View and in the second box down on the left you can set your preference.

This one works a little easier: http://www.rcn.montana.edu/resources...es.aspx?nav=11

Here's Poco's Lat / Long and from the conversion you can get the UTM as shown on the bottom. You can also get the maps on this page. http://www.rcn.montana.edu/resources...s=06.86&lonh=W
