I made some Mrs. Rick beer bread, in my new little toaster oven.

    It was pretty dang good.

I say was, because I've already eaten about 2/3 of it! LOL

Thanks for the idea, 2dumb! Just made my own 'mater soup. 2 cups of milk and a splash of cream in a saucepan, add a small can of tomato paste, a few squirts of ketchup, a couple dashes of salt, some black pepper and garlic powder That's it. Better'n Campbells!

Having it right now with a grilled ham 'n cheese sandwich.

2dumb, I was out of Campbells Tomato. This was an experiment. I'm glad I ran out of Campbells. I'll never buy it again.

I don't know if I'd get that carried away. Canned soup last a pretty long time, on the shelf. Not to mention that it's danged convenient.

Oh yeah....I forgot to say that Campbells soup was on sale the other day. Four packs of either 'mater or chicken noodle for $2. Heck...Campbells soup for 50 cents a can, I had to grab a mess of it. LOL

You know, you could leave the ribs out of that recipe, and still have one heck of a meal. That sauce, with the Italian sausage, with some pasta. Mmmm, Mmmmm! (I used rotinni. (sp))

For Christmas I cooked up a roast duck (as always) with apple/white raisin/cinnamon stuffing.
    Home made cranberry sauce.
Baked yams in brown sugar syrup
    Potatoes
    and home made bread.
    Served with Magners hard cider.
Home grown squash pie with whip cream for dessert.

Today it might be plain old boring spaghetti but you guys and your tomato soup...I may have to try something along that line.

Grrl, you're killing me with those food photos.

Oh, yummy!! I really should stop putting in a good word for the eight ducks that should have been slaughtered already months ago...

Today we had buttered brown rice with chives, homegrown acorn squash and canned moose (a mix of meat, heart and liver).
Yes, that is a nail by the plate. Always be prepared! There's a roll of duct tape and a drill bit on the table, too. And no, we don't believe in small portions.

    Man, that sounds good!

My other half doesn't like beans, so it isn't very often that I fix any. And when I do, it's just me trying to eat the whole pot of beans. It isn't pretty......or pleasant smelling! LOL
