Survivor 20: Heros vs Villians

Well the new season of Survivor started tonight and this might be the best season yet. The Villians actually started a fire with a multi person bamboo saw without the usual ferro/magnesium rod.
The heros used team work and a fishing net to catch 4 feral chickens. They also used teamwork to build a decent shelter. The villians shelter was almost as good but their teamwork in camp is lacking. The Heroes were too cocky in the first immunity challenge and had no teamwork in the puzzle phase. Too many chiefs no braves,arguing instead of helping. While the show isn't real survival there are lessons to learn about survival and life in general.

I do think they "just happened to have some feral chickens around".

I don't care who thinks what, I have watched it from the beginning and not gonna stop now.

As everybody has been on other seasons, I would have thought that would have done some "fire starting homework", so I guess it was good that they didn't need the fire steel.
Couple of them used their eye glasses in the past, as a fire starter.

Group dynamics is gonna come into play, as these are past competitors.

Every chicken I have every eaten has been decapitated. It seems to be some right of passage to the plate.

On a side note, the store near my parents house has some ethnic foods. They have bags of hen soup and cock soup. Got a picture of a rooster right on the bag. I don't know what the difference in flavor is as I have never tried cock.

Boy this thread sure has gone wide of the path!
One other thing I wanted to point out about the show. The less than subtle use of colors of the tribal bands. The villians' is Red the heros's is blue. as in red state, blue state. I'm almost positive they did that on purpose. They could have used, orange and green or purple and green(colors that clash).

How about the old goof sitting on his can says "Why try to make fire, challenge lasts 39 days, surely they'll give us fire before then." He'd probably check expiration dates on any packaged food they won!
