I googled last years June temps for Hope AK, what i found was average high of 78.8 and a average low of 30.8 is that about right , that way it gives me an idea of what tent and bag I need to take.

Count us in! I should ask... how are you with us bringing the two dogs? Both male labs and fixed. Kind gentle souls who are not left unattended. Let me know how you feel about this. They would be under control at all times and they don't bark like crazy.
We would love to attend and let us know what we can do to help. We are semi-local as we will be around the peninsula all summer and based out of Nikiski.
I have no problem with the dogs.
    1. If it's in your kit and you don't know how to use it....It's useless.
    2. If you can't reach your kit when you need it....Its useless.

Good thinking Trax. I don't want to sound parinoid but this seems like an elaborate scheme to get all members out of the lower 48. That being done, Spud and his army of .50bmg toting tater tots invade Free Traxistan from the south.

    Ok,
I have scheduled time off and we will be there. June 4th through the 6th. We have a 31' Airstream trailer, is there going to be enough room for this baby, or should we make other arrangements? It's got solar and a small wind turbine and is pretty self sufficient, so no power needed and as long as there is a potable water source somplace within walking distance we are good to go!
Should we plan on having some semi-organized learning workshops? Just have a couple of catagories/skills people want to share? Just some ideas. I know most folks are going to want to do their own thing and those from out of state will want to see as much of AK and do as much as possible.
Remember it's daylight till 10:30PM or so at this time of year!
    Regards,

Airstream will not be a problem, however your parking may not be the most picturesque, however if the logging road is dry, you will be able to get up where the others will be. As to WATER, I get my water from the creek, and I do NOT treat it, or filter it. So some of you may want to bring your local water, or bottled water.

I wonder what shipping would be on 200 pounds of water? Hmmmm.

Well, you can try out all the water filters you own, or pick-up some bottled water in Anchorage.
