Maybe I need to think twice about shooing the two cats that fight in my carport about once a week.

Makes those "northern guys" choice of feline pets a bit clearer

Cute, but....the bear never slapped back and he was just a youngster being curious. Keep in mind that wild animals will almost invariably choose flight before fight. Bears are also generally more "worried" by smaller attackers than larger ones. They'll get on their hind legs to fight and that makes smaller animals harder to swat. I've seen video footage of a brown bear vs a wolverine. Man, those wolverines can take a beating. One slap and that wolverine must have sailed a good 30 yards. In 99.9.....% of situations I'd recommend keeping any housepet out of a bear's path.
some fella confronted me the other day and asked "What's your problem?" So I told him, "I don't have a problem I am a problem"

More like the kitty was just getting a little kiss from the moose.

Our "attack cat" Mittens, (RIP), was 27 years old at the time of her demise.

Very small, full grown was about 2-1/2 pounds.
She ruled the house, and yard, didn't matter what it was, it was her territory.
Went thru about 3 sets of dogs, got'em young a 'splaned how it was.

Several other cats came and went, but till the day she died, she was queen.
Giving her a flea bath was like washing a running chain saw.

Sota miss the little "lap-top" sometimes...............

Musta had a nice life with y'all.
It's gratifying to know they can live that long and we hope our Tibby has the same luck. We treat him better than each other.
