I found this site while looking for edible plants info.
There is really a treasure trove of info to be found here, thanks to all for sharing your knowledge and exp.
By way of introduction;
I am in my early forties, with a strong interest in backpacking and primitive camping.
As far as preparedness goes I have a bit of gear and a general knowledge of the forests around western NC where I'm from.
I was a boyscout and was in the army.
I am a firm believer that we are headed for some hard times and to that end I am making as much preperations as possible.
