I'd be happy to, but you should try it. It really is pretty simple. I'm finishing a knife where I used orange felt. That one took a couple of tries, and about twice the amount of resin (felt was reeeeeeeeally absorbent and compresses a lot). I kind of like being able to see the grain - but some guy wanted an orange handled knife.Originally Posted by panch0

It's really kind of fun playing with the different colors and patterns. It's always a bit of a mystery as to how they will turn out.
