They have an interesting website. Have used they're knives for many years. They have gotten expensive.
I like the handles
I knew that but glad to have it validated by a Holy Man. I have been blessed with 2 "Dogs of a Lifetime". One an Irish Setter that was a great retriever of birds and a brave and faithful friend. ...
There are a couple of places to get horizontal folding knife sheaths. One is Moore Maker Knives, the other may be Big Bend Saddlery out in Alpine Texas. I have used a couple of them myself.
If you don't know horses you don't need to mess with them. With horses it's not if, but when, you will get hurt. I got the scars and joint pain to prove it. They are great transportation but do...
Thanks Rick. Excellent way to communicate.
I like wool over goose down vests.
I will be watching what people need and will gladly take part in this goodwill mission. I will be glad to share and ship needed items I have.
That was a good bow hunt!
My favorite cartridge. I have a 3 screw Ruger and a Marlin 1894M in .22 magnum. I have killed a lot of coyotes and hogs with both. You just got to hit them right. Most of the hogs were tied up...
Great looking fighting knife
I think it is good to use everything you can of the animal too. Deer bones make good daggers.
Great looking knife. Good job
Irish Setters and L.L. Bean Boots. Wool Socks, sometimes two pair of wool socks. (Not in Florida, one pair will do it here, North Alabama is colder and requires 2 pairs)
I just did it as a young man. It does get exciting sleeping out in Bear Country. I seldom use a tent, like to see the stars.
Batch, it has a 3 inch blade and is a folder. Has Sikes/Fairbourne scrolled on the blade. I bought it as a "hide out" knife for my back pocket. Very light and opens one handed. I will put it in...
Have a Mark I boot knife from years ago. Quality knife. Purchased a Gerber "Sikes/Fairbourne" folder and was disappointed in quality. Blade will fold up on you after it is supposed to be locked.
I use to get crickets like that but in dry areas. Did you eat the worms or were they for fishing?
I agree, you need to be resourceful and recognize items that you can put to good use now and later.
I think any woodsman would like to have a knife such as that. Great knife.
I guess that was it. I know it was the best jerky I ever had. Can not make it here in Florida.
I can remember my Father making it when I was a kid. We lived in cold country then and he would wait for winter. He cut the meat in thin strips, put them in boiling water for about a minute. Then...
Can't comment, just can't do it.
You are right on the money Rick. I think it is just more wuss-a-facation of the U.S.
