Junk..........
I own two walthers. PP, and a PPK/s(interarms). Both great guns. Would recommend. A little heavy if you don't mind that. But you can never go wrong with a Glock either.
People have done the vacuum seal method and later dug up bags-o-rust. With vacuum seal, you will never get all of the air out of the bag.
Have you ever taken a look at Maxpedition's gear? they make quality stuff. www.maxpedition.com

Brightly colored duct tape can be used to wrap around branches or trees to mark trails.
EDIT: whoa. I didn't notice there were 18 pages to this thread.
I carry a Gerber axe, and a buckmaster 184.
Don't need to have an FFL to buy or sell guns.
Some criminals are stupid
This is virtually an endless argument. Don't let anyone tell you what the best survival round is. You must decide for yourself. A better question would be: "what rounds do you use and why?"

I hope you purchased a post-defect model.
EDIT: Never mind you got the revolver not the semi-auto.
Here in MI a "truck gun" is highly illegal unless it is in a locked case in the cargo area of the truck with the ammo far away from the gun and your only transporting it to and from a gun range. But...
Sounds like you need to stop wasting money, save up and buy a reliable firearm.

Winter i carry a glock 22 or 27. In...
Going on-line and printing an aerial map might help.
Squirrels taste like chicken. Just thought you'd want to know.
Fact: There is no perfect 'survival' gun. It's all in what will get the job done comfortably for YOU.
I have 2 bags set up. One is my survival bag which carries this:
2mre's ---------------------------------------gotta eat

Thank you for the info. You could use some longer bumpstops I think, or just trim the fenders if you don't want to rub them tires. But I know the feeling. My last XJ had 5inches of lift with 32's...
Ok thanks for the info. I know of BDS out of Clearwater. I had one of their lifts on a Ram. They are just way too pricey. They recently started a new company (owned by BDS and also out of...
There are write-ups for using dodge dakota rear springs and such, but i don't really feel like diving in to all of that right now. And I'm not a fabricator, so out-of-the-box will have to do.
Who here has/had lifted XJ's? I'm shopping for about a 3inch lift to throw on her. Just don't know which manuf. to go with. My last one was a Trailmaster, but they're a bit pricey for me right...
