Where I hunt them they range between 300 - 500 lbs. the one in the pic was about 350lbs I'm guessing. I didn't weigh it.

When I'm walking about, I don't carry a lot of ammo with me either. I usually have six in the tube and an extra eight on the butt stock.

I have a model 96 Swedish Mauser that I used to shot out to 600 yards with in a vintage combat rifle league I was in back in the late 90's. We had to use era correct ammunition. It was a lot of fun.
