Welcome, from another ST refugee.
You will like this place, even more than the old one.
I have leaked batteries damaging my stuff too many times. I never store any electric/electronic device with the batteries in.
Crank flashlights idea was great, I have 8 or 10 of those.
No way in hell this air rifle will work for self defense, I know that. But still I can keep a nosy dude away and if I need meat in the pot, I have a way too (but keep in mind hunting is a hideous...
By the way, here are the machetes with a Bic pen on the left for comparison:

Edit: Yes, they are very sharp.
I exchanged a couple Pm's with him. Looks like a nice guy, and crafty for sure
Agree, but I was looking for the capabilitie of putting as many rounds as I could in an intended target. This way I can use it to supress any movt at a fair distance (maybe 50 or 70 meters). I know,...
I want a shooting platform at hand 24/7 and not get arrested for it. I took the bow, crossbow and the air rifle to test it out. Simple enough, in a minute how many and how accurate they shoot at 15...
I agree 110%. lol
I dont eat balanced food most of the time. Im eating fried sausage, bacon and barbecue since monday. Tasty but not healthy at all. I need all the help I can get...hehehe
KShooter, I have two kids, at ages 4 and 1 something. We have to carry a lot of stuff! I drive a double cab truck and a compact car. When the kids come along, forget about the small car. So much s***...
Another very good thing to have is a trauma kit, for stabs and gunshots. Easy to assemble and may be a life saver.

I agree vitamins are not food.
But I disagree about it being useless in short term. I feel way better the whole day when I take my multi-vitamin. In any situation, even during normal everyday life,...
I first read about it in "One Second After" or "Lights Out", cant remember. This guy was traveling on foot with his family and he mention that what helped him going was some vitamins he had.
Vitamins and minerals are essential nutrients and its a very good thing to keep a few days worth of vitamins and minerals in your BOB (mine is 45 days).
It may keep you going when the food is...
Great point.
I'll take some pictures of my setup when I get home tonight and I'll post it tomorrow.
I was thinking of survival, maybe boiling it or removing the marrow, when bugging out.
The chickens tip (no pun intended) was good.
Since I have a baby in the house, I was thinking about "camouflage" my BOB in a baby bag. Even if you dont have a child with you, it wont atract a lot of attention.
In baby blue or pink, its better...
Where I live there's no big predators (only long pork lol). A bolt action .22 with a sidearm same caliber would work. Another good combo is a lever action 38/357 with same caliber sixshooter.
Good...
In a survival situation, you will have problems to find food. But dry bones are easy to find, anywhere. What to do with bones? Is there a way to prepare it?
Thanx in advance.
1- 10in Bowie knife
2- A magnesium fire starter
3- .22 bolt action with 1.000 rounds
I can make shelter, cordage and improvise a cooking/boiling conteiner.:punk:
This a really nice place, and keeps getting better by the hour...
Welcome!
Looks like a lot of refugees came to this place, including myself...lol
Welcome.
Its different to take a Kabar from your belt. A Mora is a lot less frightening to other people.
Although a small blade, a Mora is what I carry when in the city.
There's a really nice way to carry...
