Canid,
I finally found these pics. Amazing! Absolutely amazing.
FVR,
I enjoyed your pics too.
Thank you both for sharing them.
Yeh, you're right... the needless killing of wildlife due to human populations has gotta be the coolest part.
Cougar, a large tawny colored cat, felis concolor, of North and South America. Also called mountain lion, panther and puma.
This was supposedly near the hospital. I thought it was cool there...
We had a cougar spotted here in town - about as heavy a populated part of town as we have here not involving shopping centers. Sure hope this one fares better than the fawn did several months back.
In the past year, I have been slowly collecting: pack, knives, fishing gear, gun, ammo, emergency first aid supplies, food stores, foraging guides and maps. Today, I am starting a complete...
Yup, Rick is right. You guys do sound like a cuddly group. Hilarious tree huggin' there.
Canid, I got all these pics going up on my main blog now and will add the others you sent the other day along with a bit of your narrative. If you can sometime, please review it though to make sure...
Grocery Outlet sells S&W Mellow'd Roast in a 34.5 oz can. I'm sure Mellow'd must mean drinkable. ;)
They make a good mini-fridge. You can hang them in the creek from strings and even your liquid doesn't leak... but hey, I tend to shop at Sally Ann's.

It's not the height, it's the thought of falling.
When rock climbing, I discovered I was fine so long as I was focused on making it to the top. Then, somebody said, "Okay, now just lean back...
If you're going to be fairly stationary, mason jars are darned handy too.
If you opt out of the flour, yeast, baking powder route, you could consider stocking up on a ready-made such as Bisquick which is fairly versatile. In my younger years, we would mix up the dough,...
Thank you very much.
Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm gonna be digging around in your threads for awhile researching. I'll probably have questions sooner or later.
Those are great pics. I decided this week that I prolly need to prepare. Does that count?
Ridge Wolf I am hoping to try parts of the PCT this summer too... it counts. Looking to hear from anyone who has hiked the Nor Cal, Oregon and/or Washington sections.
Hi folks,
I am canid's proud momma. I know that he has been a fan and member of this site for awhile. I joined to see the pics of tools he has been working on since I don't get to see him so...
Hey Canid, once registered I can see the pics. Great work!
