A local gun shop has two M-24s on the shelf. Both are .22LR/20gauge. Both are in good shape. Both are in the $350-$400 range.
PM me if you want details.
If I had not just scored another...

Does that revolver have the transfer bar?

Hunter,
Good grab! I have several M929s. Nice and light little revolvers. I finally found a .22LR/.22WMR convertible, only after I had picked up that Single-Six.
The Main Springs have a...

You will LOVE that Savage 24C. Mine has become my favorite as well. I would never pass one up at any price.

Y'all know I have been there. I like your "place". But I am a "flat-lander". I have reservations about the slopes, and sliding earth. Please do be sure to consider that as you plan. ...

That gun sure does look familiar.....
DO be careful with the scope attached. It hurts like heck.

Hunter,
Sure is Purdy.
Y'all cant go wrong with a .50cal. Were all waiting to see some holes punched in paper.
( To see how close the holes are, ya know)
Just might be testin' the...
Well, this sure is an interesting thread.
I have used .22LR shot shells (#12 shot) in the garden for gophers. Deadly at 15 feet. Harmless at 50 feet..... which is why I liked them for that...
I have a standard sized Savage M24 that I mounted a peep sight on. It makes the .22 more accurate, but the small aperture does interfere with the hammer-mounted barrel selector. So I use the peep...
Dunsee,

I use it camping. Lightly buttered then grilled like a grilled cheese sandwich. Then spread with cream cheese.
I never eat it at home. LOL

Good score! The M24-C is my favorite. I like the shorter barrel(s).

That place sure looks familiar. Enjoy the "spring". I bet the River is high, eh?
