I'm trying to build a functional bug out bike, but i'm not sure on what type of bike i will need. along with gear and equipment.

I would appreciate knowing where to acquire a bulletproof vest, or some other protective gear.
Also some protective headgear would be nice.
Relatively cheap is good as well.

My favorite thing has always been making white fur needle and wild ginger tea when it's really cold. So relaxing.....
