Heck I have to make multiple attempts at parts for fixed blades (all I've ever made) sometimes.... Could have something to do with me rushing and getting too anxious:whistling:
Just curious, but how more difficult is it to make a folder than a fixed blade? It looks so much more complicated.
Hmm... Maybe 1095, O-1 or S30V. The s30v has been performing amazingly on my benchmade and haven't had to sharpen it once in the seven months I've had it.

Always enjoy watching your videos crash! I just got some 1095 in the mail and am starting on a knife for my friend who will be graduating this year. Hopefully it turns out well
Not the best afterwards, don't really ever use it cuz it was just made from mild steel. I have however made a couple from files that work pretty good
I have a husqvarna hatchet (sorry no pics). I also just got an old doubled bladed axe from an antique mall for 3.97! It seems to be hand forged and was really rusty but I bather it in vinegar and now...
Happy late birthday Crash!
I don't have a ton of medical experience but in biology today we learned how to suture and got to practice on bananas since the peel is similar to skin. I thought it was pretty cool!
At around 11 years old i finally convinced my parents to get me a knife. Started with a gerber and now 4 years later i have benchmade 940 that rests in my pocket any and all times I'm not at school....
When you spend $200 dollars on a new knife just cuz (dropped that on a benchmade Osborne 940 today!)

Nice looking knife enigma! Just curious cuz i thought deer skin was a thinner leather, but how well does the sheath hold up?
Little neck knife i made, a tomahawk i am forging from a farrier rasp, and a knife for my older brother i am still working on (just need to snd blade and oil the handle).
I'm looking at buying a 110 next
I just put a nice edge on a knife I'm making for my older brother from with a harbour freight belt sander. I'm making it from a file, and once i finish the maple and red elm handle later today i will...
Pretty cool looking at first i think, but then it just looks a little pointless and waste of a good axe head. Still a neat idea, but functionality does seem all that great.

Anyone ever seen something like this before? Seems like a generally one purpose tool... Thought?
My first knife was a folder with serrations, and then I got a nicer plain edge. Never gone back to serrations. That being said, it's really just a matter of preference
Okay thx for the advice!

My dad just got an lcrx and hasn't gotten a holster yet. He said he wanted an IWB so I will have to show this to him!
Common names are usually pretty helpful, but recently the scientific community has been changing the binomial nomenclature of some organisms due to new developments. (And they are starting to change...
I often dream of taking to the woods and living off the land, but my reason would be to "escape" the complicated everyday life. I guess you just have to search and find why you are really leaving,...
