I'm a CERT. It's amazing how few CERT members that Indiana. There are only 4 in my county, me included.
I got a pretty decent Frosts of Mora knife for only $10. High carbon, red handle so I cna find it if I drop it. SHARP!
Shoot, I wasn't even allowed to have a BB gun. I feel deprived. Then again, my Dad knew I'd use the neighbors as target practice.
I know of 110 acres of wooded land near Gosport. Has a freshwater spring. Actually set up pretty well for a thing such as this. It's private property.
Hello fellow Hoosier.
I'm definitely down for it. If you all need a location, I've definitely got one.
I try to stay away from mylar blankets unless it's an absolute emergency. My main use for them is a winter time solar heater for shelters.
I didn't read all of the replies on this thread, but you all should check out Les's book, "Survive!" It's a good read. Kind of left out what to do in a tornado, though, but I doubt he's had too much...
Good idea no matter where you're walking.

BOTH!
Actually, just for general dew collection.
Oh, everything I have, I will train and practice with until mastery. I learned that lesson after my machete incident.
What would you use Rick? Hand gun? I've been looking at obtaining one of these in the next year or two....
Oh, Beo. I didn't discover that that Trooper kid was his son until today.
Hmm. I'll do a little research and look at some reviews on the Bushmaster. I've also discovered that I have to have a FFL to buy the Bushmaster, so I'll probably go with the M1. Or get a FFL. Not too...
You could always fasten sponges to yourself and roll around. I'd do it.
Who's goofball?
How do they compare in accuracy? I can most likely manage the weight if the M1 is more accurate. By "reach out," I assume you mean that it is more accurate a longer distances.
Good marksmanship ensures a dead target.
No, this is something going on in two different threads.
Watch out though, that type of confusion will get you into the same predicament you're already confused about.
