... For $30, I guess it will do the job. Nothing more, and (I hope) nothing less.
I was looking for a camp knife not very heavy (my options: Bushman CS, Matagi or Varan Condor) but I finally choose the Meyerco Large Camp Knife, because the shape of the blade was near of my old...
Welcome neighbbor (I live in Spain). Good to share with you :thumbup1:
Thanks for your opinions. I'm sure there will be a lot of revues, tests and the like on YT, and may be a couple of "Condor Matagi vs Cold Steel Bushman" revue. I'll wait a little to take my decision:...
About 2 times: http://www.knifecenter.com/item/CN23310HC/condor-tool-knife-ctk233-10hc-matagi-knife
And it seem quite stronger, with a good quality leather sheath... I was about to buy a Bushman,...
Look a great tool to me, as good as the Cold Steel Bushman, but stronger:

Hello, welcome aboard. You're lucky, living in the scandi grind country.
There are too much experts, masters, "professional" survival trainers and survival TV/video shows stars. I'm just a wilderness addict :red_indian:
Not my favourite kind of tool, but a good camp knife :)
I have a Mora Clipper half tang 2mm thick (like the one on the pic) and it's a incredibly strong knife, good for most camp tasks, also light batonning. I saw the Destruction Test of that $12 knife. 3...
Por that price, I prefer a good chainsaw :innocent:
Fixed or folder?
Both of them...
A good full tang fixed fixed blade + a well thinked folder (SAK...
I had that kind of doubt in a french forum a few weeks ago: Is a Spiderco Buschraft SO MUCH BETTER than my Mora Robust (more than 15 x the price)? Most of the guys's answear was: NO
I use an Arkansas water stone, then ceramic and leather. And all my blades are razor sharp, I mean all my knives (inox and carbon steel, folders or fixed) can shave paper or the hairs of my arms.
I like the Bushcraft Black too. But it's very expansive if compared to my Mora Robust :punk:
... Me too
I don't agree 100% with this. Of course any knife will work, if there is no others...
But...
I'm a cook, I'm working with a knife all day long. Three or four of them.
But when I go in the...
I love my Eskabar...

I carry both. A big camp/survival knife (Gerber BMF)and a small blade (Eskabar or Mora). But for one day travel/bushcraft, I prefer carry only one of them: The small one.
... And my SAK, of course...
HAPPY NEW YEAR, amigos :toomany:
Squeleton knife is great to conceal.
But very unconfortable to work with, and paracord wrapping look nice but is unconfortable too.
A good way to make quickly a good handle for the Eskabar is...
SAK, without a doubt. My New Soldier SAK :tank:
Mora is a great choice :clap::clap:
 I agree, I'm very happy with my 10" Condor Speed bowie. I paid for it $25.
I think it is good to practic every option, even the deseperate ones. Throwing a knife is, in my idea, the last thing to do. So better not fail.
