Va is one of the Commonwealth states...they have many of their own standards of accreditation than national standards.

Most are neck and neck.....some more...some less....but if you want to talk...

NREMT is a more complicated class than the Va EMT requirements.....or at least it use to be. You can go anywhere as a NREMT.....not so with a state sanctioned certification.....IIRC....I had to do so...
