Wow I missed a lot....
Are there any duck owners here who raise ducks for their eggs or meat? If so, feel welcome to post about all your ducks and what types they are! I myself don't have any ducks, but I partially raised...
Hello from Quebec. I'm new too, so you probably won't be getting many advanced answers from me.
Oh goodness. xD So I'm guessing squirrel fur is good for coats...
LOL! Next thing on my list for me to try xD
There are a lot of people in my area that would appreciate me getting rid of the squirrels that infest their attics, so I'll do that. :D
Sounds amazing!
Ok thanks (:
Another question: what can you use squirrel skins for?
I will definitely eat anything I catch, and I believe my laws allow hunting and trapping, at least, I've never read or heard others wise. But thanks for the advice.
Thanks for the info TX. To own a gun in Canada you need a license which I evidently don't have, and I've never used a gun anyway, although some of my brothers have.
We have plenty of squirrels in Canada too. :P And I just want to use traps to try something different on catching animals.
I've never tried squirrel actually, but I want to. Is it good?
Shots fired.
Thanks for the information and I wasn't just going to use just the squirrel pole traps; I was just wondering if they were worth my time.
It's one of my most favourite medicinal plants for that reason. I used it on my friend after she got her arm full of swollen, stinging cuts from blackberry bushes and she was shocked at how fast the...
I'm guessing that the gumbo limbo tree grows in warmer climates because I have never heard of it, but the information that you have just provided is fascinating. I'll keep that in mind the next time...
That is very true about the side effects and warnings and I'll add that to my list. I myself starting learning about medicinal plants just at the beginning of this summer, but since then I have spent...
Has anyone here ever had any luck catching squirrels using pole snares? I'm debating whether or not I should use them, since they are the easiest to make but I'm not sure if they're efficient.
Okay---will do that. Thanks for the feedback!
Ok thanks for the ideas. :)
Ok xD and unfortunately for the overly adult-like people who know me, I'm not growing old or growing up.
If no one minds, I would like to go through all the medicinal plants that I know and write an article about each one here. It's just so people who don't know much about common medicinal plants that...
If the wild parsnips in your area have a tall stem growing from the centre and have yellow flowers, they're in their second year. But yes, to people who don't want burns, it would be best to avoid...
I know all about the problems with wild parsnip juice, but I haven't had any reaction with it yet, even though I spend a lot of time handling the plants. I suppose it's just because I'm careful not...
