No tags stating capacity, but it's roughly the same size as my old med. alice pack. It's a mil surplus, new, from Italy.I've put my usual belongins in it,and it carries very well.
My new pack came in today,it heavy canvas, multiple outside pockets, real heavy duty, guess as soon as the flood waters go down,I'll try it out to see if it's as good as my old alice.666166606662
A book from my youth, yes we had books back then, called where the red fern grows, tells of using nails to trap raccoons in hollow logs with nails.
I've packed my alice for years, have loved every mile/day that i've used it.Recently I has developed jungle rot,so I ordered a new pack last week, that should arrive this coming week. It's similar to...
I remember back n my law enforcement days,we used to carry S&W 686 .357 mags,we went to 9mm,and they sucked, the reason for high cap. was because you needed it to take out anything bigger than a...
Looks great! Can't wait to see it finished.
I've owned both, but currently own the model 60,it's just as good of a weapon as the 10/22,only tube fed.I agree,Rugar, like many other companies r priceing their products way to high, and if theri...
It can be a nerve racking experience.I was fortunate enough to get to perform with the group I play and sing with live stream on a satilite channel last year. The key,for me anyways, was to relax,be...
Looks great! You should be proud to carry it!As you continue to make more, you'll get better, learning from your mistakes n such, soon you'll have it down to an art. You'll see.I still carry my first...
The first aid kit should definatley stay, maybe you can remove some of the less like to be used components, but don't loose it all together. Also as stated before, think about loosing one of the...
That is a sweet rig! Got any pics of it unholstered?Would love to see......:turned:
I love the old shotshell holder, and if i'm doing some serious hunting where reloading quickly is needed,I'll palm an extra round in my left hand whild i'm cupping the fore grip,so when i fire i...
I'm a dedicated single shot shooter,my gun of choice being a H&R single shot 12 ga.I use it by choice for everything I hunt, from Deer to rabbits, and everything in between.Single shot like your Rossi...
If it had been a survival situation,I might understand, but shooting it while it slept? It's just as bad as baiting,no sport in it,your not even giving the animal a fighting chance. And a firearm on top...
Happy New Year Everyone, hope the up and coming year brings you and yours all the best.Be Safe
[QUOTE=preachtheWORD;234458]I liked the show in general. I watched it with my wife. I turned to her and said, "So, honey, when are you going to go out on a wilderness adventure with me?" She just...
LOL...Can't wait to see some pics of it..been thinking of getting one myself.
Looks like a choke berry bush to me,but I cant' really tell, eyes aint what they used to be.
Caught the "Amazon" episode.....it was a decent show, but his Rod Serling "Twilight Zone esq" voice just kills it for me.
Personally I prefer alice, because it's what I'm used to using, however,I like some of the molle components that work well on both packs.
Oh....You mean KSP, Kentucky State Police, they have'nt been called highway patrol since late 50's,i was confused.....of course it didn't take much lol.
They're both sharp work..I really like the bottom one, looks like the blade shape of my homemade.Great job.
What is KHP
I have used my med. alice for over ten years, and if I had to buy new pack tommarow, thats what i'd buy again.Theres a reason it stayed as the main troop pack for so many years...because it worked!
