I think it's advertised by Gerber as able to cut through the fuselage, I myself have not seen or heard whether anyone actually does this or not.

I have to agree with the gents who pointed out getting a proper string. The bow will shoot better and tune better with a proper string. Stick with dacron string and not any of the newer "fastflite"...
