Due to the nature of my business I have to have EMT-B. I also have studied herbal and holistic medicine(Native American and Japanese).

I carry it with me in the back country and have used it on many occasions. Works exceedingly well. Easy to make, light to carry.

I used flint and steel for the most part. For tinder I've used cattail fluff, dry pine needles and shaved birch bark. Dryer lint works well but burns quickly.

Do you have gophers or ground squirrels?
