I like to practice some survival skills such as making fire with flint and steel and building temporary shelters and there are always a few items helpful to survival i take with me even when i go...
Also if you can pull the furr off neatly in 1 piece you can fold it inside out and use it to keep your hands/feet warm if your out in colder weather.
