Hello,
I was talking to another shooter today. We were discussing how our eyesight has changed since we became diabetic.
I've been thinking about setting something up on Old Va, that deals with diabetic shooting, outdoor living and even cooking game.
Right now, I'm just trying to get a feel for how many of us there are.

So these are the two guys selling extended car warranties.
Why would he want to shoot diabetics?
They tend to run slower and the meat is generally sweeter. (Did I say that out loud?)
The first question that comes to mind is how you know that.

My mom is diabetic. She did not adhere to the recommendations of the doctors and her eyesight fell. My sister is also a diabetic, but she regularly measures glucose levels, takes insulin and has diabetes under control, her blood vessels are healthy and her eyesight does not suffer. There is a little myopia, but the ophthalmologist says that this is due to working at a computer.
You'd think we'd want to keep them around in case a bear attacks. Easier to out runQuote:
