Nice holsters.
Pretty nice hobby. Those are great.
Really like the cross draw......My personal favorite.
I want to wet form a zippo pouch , any ideas how should i do it ?
Don't know what to think about a guy that makes fantastic You-tube videos and did not check You-tube for some instructions!

This film is language neutral and I do not think the guy speaks at all! Pure visual instructions.
I often skip the part where he uses a form to shape the wet leather, I use the item itself, wrapped in a piece of plastic bag or cling wrap.
I guess my original pic's aren't come thru....
Oh well....What Kyrat said....
I don't know my friend , I viewed many videos and I am doing it the same way without the clamps and woods but *** I see the leather of this guy took the raw form with a few strokes of the burnisher but I was burnishing for about 10 minutes on all sides , I have already started doing it , but the leather wont keep the form as much as this guys leather does , not even close.
everyone tends to say veg tan leather , what does that mean ? maybe my leather is not vegetable tanned ?

Here's how my leather looks

Your leather is "chromed tanned"....one give away is the blue tint on the edge.
This kinda explains the different between vegetable tanned and Chrome Tanned.
http://leatherworker.net/forum/topic...table-tanning/
Probably not anytime soon....it more like the chrome tanned leather has salts and chemicals the may corrode metal if knives are left in storage.
I gonna guess that the leather I used in the OP was chrome tanned.....was from a bag of scraps from a hobby store...and for some reason the pic's won't come out?.....
I soaked it over night, and then clamped down over a mold....or as Kyrat says wrap up you object in a plastic bag.
But I do not expect any problems.
When I wet the leather , if I don't wet the whole thing , it starts to have this stains http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...1c0aad8814.jpg
