Those I have in the backyard and freezer. Baked a blackberry cobbler yesterday. Life is good indeed.

Our blackberries haven’t ripened. Soon though.

We picked 5 lbs of blueberries last week. Going out again this week.

I've thought about putting out some dewberry canes along my fence lines, but then I ask myself "Why?" I can go to #3 son's place and pick until I'm weak from loss of blood. I've thought about putting in some Blackberry canes, but then I ask myself "Why?" I can get all the dewberries I can pick and not tend to the vines.

We actually like the wild dewberries more than the big old plump domesticated blackberries, not that there's anything wrong with the big old plump blackberries....

#1 wife made a cobbler today and I just polished off an oversized bowl of Bluebell HMV and Dewberry Cobbler. She made dewberry muffins this morning... She's playing Hell with my weight loss program..
