Cool looking flint steel, inspired by Northern Adirondack Forge
Hi all, I ran across an image of a small necklace flint striker by Northern Adirondack Forge that inspired me to make a larger one.

I added a down-turned beak for style and to ensure it can be used in either direction without hanging up. turns out it also makes for a great ferro rod striker if the inside edge is undercut a bit.

This one was made out of knife blade stock 1080+ (80CrV2). It sparks ok; however, I think 1095 would be better. Really like how it turned out and thinking of making another from 1095.
