What kind of fish is this?

I went fishing the other day here in north western Tennessee on a small (180 acre) lake. The first fish I caught I thought was a skipjack shad, but now I'm not so sure. The more I think about it, it might be a Golden Shiner. I may have misidentified it in the video. It was silvery-gold in color but darker almost gray near the top. The tail was more deeply forked and the head more elongated than most golden shiners I've seen, but it wasn't as lightly colored as most skipjacks I've seen either. Plus, I think skipjack shad are more of a river fish, and not a lake fish... So which do you think it is?

I wish I could, but unfortunately no matter what I try, it tells me my picture is an invalid file and won't let me post it. I checked a thread on how to do it, and I did that, but it will not post.

I was able to confirm that it was a Golden Shiner (Notemigonus crysoleucas). I went back in and added an annotation over my mistake in the video so no one gets confused.

That's what we use for largemouth bass bait down here.

It would take a heck of a largemouth to eat that one whole, lol. I've caught a few bass in that lake before, but nothing large. There are some great catfish in there though!
