Got me!!!!
Bug bit for a 25-20. At the last gun show I behaved myself and didn't buy a gun. Bought a little coleman gas stove. Anyhoo I bumped into a knife making friend at that show that happens to be a gun enthusiast too. He getting up there in age, over 80 years and still making knives. His specialty is butterfly knives. But he was telling me about a 25-20 he has/had. I stopped by his place today and fell in love with that little rifle, got me. It's a little martini that had started life in 310 cadet. It was relined to 25-20 just recently. On the plus side I have a original in 310 cadet. I got maybe a 150 rounds for it too. Now to get some dies and bullets.

No pictures of the little feller?

I'll be getting some. It looks like the run of the mill cadet, at first look there is no way to tell if it a 310 cadet or a 25-20. I'll get some to post but I won't be shooting it for a bit because it's deer season and I don't want to molest my son in law's hunt. I'm in search of a sling and a peep sight for it.

Very nice! Have you shot it?
Alan

not yet, the SIL is deer hunting and I don't want to molest his hunt. I am anxious to though.

Dang it. You have all the fun. (pouting and kicking gravel as I walk away)

Don't hold back Rick, gunbroker is a puter key click away.

Double dang!
I want me a rifle with a little kangaroo on it!
-
no kidding how many rifles have a kangaroo on them? And I have two

How old is the rifle? Is it a repeating rifle? I don't see a place for a magazine. Sharp looking rifle and the gun bluing looks good.

I missed this question, Not sure how old the rifle is, they were produced from 1891 to 1949. There is no magazine, it is a single shot. The breech block drops down and a round is slipped into the chamber.
