Howdy from Alabama
Howdy, I am a 21 year old male from the state of Alabama. I am a Pentecostal Christian. I am a beginner in the art of wilderness survival. Most of what I know is centered around firearms, and my knowledge of that is lacking compared to many as well.
I did spend time in the Army as an 11B stationed in Fort Lewis-McChord, but was discharged early due to unforeseen circumstances.
I have taken a couple steps towards a more self-sufficient lifestyle such as beginning a garden (tomatoes, okra, zucchini, squash, and lettuce) and raising chickens. I have three ISA Brown pullets and am purchasing some Rhode Island Reds in two days, so I'll have eight total.
My goal, simply put, is learning how to live off very little and surviving if a disaster strikes my area or the entire country is enveloped in chaos.
I was sent here by Sourdough, the Alaskan.
Thanks for taking the time to read!

Welcome to the fire Earlymarksman. Glad you found us. Thank you for your service. Alabama is pretty county. do you do much camping or is that garden keeping you too busy?

Really desiring to get into camping. Been a couple times but nothing extreme. Most of my outdoors experience was while I was in the military, but it was doing drills and training and not learning to start a fire with flint and steel or make a bow drill.
