I'm about 70 pages into this guide and it is great.
I'm a beginner though. So. my opinion doesn't hold much credibility.
Have any of you guys read and found this manual useful?
I'm thinking of buying a physical copy and keeping it in my bag for camping.
Depends on your mission. Are you out to practice survival or out for a night or two under the stars.

Not dumb at all. Just needed someone to point you in the right direction. As for maggots, depending on the specie, they only eat dead tissue. Medical grade maggots were used for a long time in the hospital settings. I know a lineman that had the bottom of his feet burned in a power line accident and they used maggots on his feet to debride the dead tissue.
Look up a documentary about the REAL Bridge on the River Kwai story. It was a good movie, but almost completely fictional. The doctor, a prisoner also, had the men stand in streams so fish would nibble away dead or infected tissue.Quote:
