About Brooks Range

Biography:

I was a career Alaska Smokejumper. I did a solo traverse of Alaska from Canada to the Chukchi Sea and a six week hunting and fishing trip in the Brooks Range of Alaska, and have hiked from Mexico to Canada three times: on the Pacific Crest Trail, Continental Divide Trail and the Desert Trail. In 2014 I spent 70 days in Alaska relying solely on foraging, hunting and fishing for food (see my home page for more info.)
