Thanks. I usually go Up into Walhalla and to where GA, SC, and NC meet or up in the mountains outside of Dahlonega for my camping. I have hiked the Panther Creek Trail many times but people usually leave it a mess leaving litter and used tp behind. You have probably hiked it and guess what. One of the members here, Pocomoonskyeyes, even helped build it!

There are many places in the Chattahoochee National Forest. This time of year there isn't a lot of activity, so you should be fairly secluded.

Hey, bud. Do you know of any places around Athens that you can actually do some primitive camping? I know there's a national forest outside of Watkinsville but have never been to it and it looks rather small on the map and crisscrossed with many roads and farmland.
