So, you'll notice the forums have changed, I reorganized and added some things, this has been planned for awhile.

Comments welcome, and I suppose criticisms too.

The idea is to make things more logically organized as well as to expand certain topics based on the perceived interest the userbase has in said topics.

Myself and the moderators should be working over the next few days to move threads to their new appropriate homes. For instance the recipe & how-to sub-sub forums are empty and such threads are scattered throughout the forum.

A few notes.

1. The old "Survival Food, Foraging Hunting etc" was renamed to Primitive Skills & Technology (http://www.wilderness-survival.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=17) I then went and moved all the foraging threads out of it to the new Foraging & Wild Edibles (http://www.wilderness-survival.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=29) however, there may be some I missed

2. "Gardening and Food Storage" was renamed to just Gardening (http://www.wilderness-survival.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=18) and a new Cooking, Food Storage, & Preserving (http://www.wilderness-survival.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=31) category was created. I've not yet moved all the recipe threads and whatnot.

3. New Hunting & Trapping (http://www.wilderness-survival.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=32) & Fishing (http://www.wilderness-survival.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=33) categories have been made. These are for modern methods (gun & pole) discussions. There is going to be a lot of threads in the old Survival Food (now Primitive Skills & Technology (http://www.wilderness-survival.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=17)) forum that belong in these instead. Please try to keep the difference in mind when posting. If you're posting about a primitive method of hunting or trapping, post in the Primitive Skills forum, if you're talking about going deer hunting with your 12ga, post in the Hunting forum.

well if anything it will keep sarge from being annoyed by telling folks to search topics out, makes life allot easier with all the catagories to post in. the more topic options the better in my opinion and easier learning for folks out there. good job as always chris

good job Chris and Mods! It's good to see a forum evolve like this to a point where broad topics become more specific and specialized.

This is great. It's much easier to fiind what you are looking for now. I picked 3 random things and went to where I thought they would be and there they were. It will improve even more once everything is reorganized and finalized.

Great job guys!

Just so everybody knows, it will probably take a bit to get everything moved around to where it should be. Be patient.
